Amy Jack A Max
£49,950
Amy Jack A Max is a lovely 63’ traditional stern narrowboat built in 2002 by Orion Narrowboats, and fitted out by the original owner. She was last blacked in April 2026, and the external paintwork is in good condition.
The open well deck is large at 7’3”, with a storage locker (can be used as a bench) and access to storage in the bow locker too. There is plenty of room for freestanding chairs and a table if required.
Two sets of bi-folding glazed doors open up the whole front of the boat, with a step leading into the enormous 20’5” saloon. Here are two low slipper armchairs, a large sofa bed which converts to a spare double, a gateleg table with two stools, and a couple of freestanding storage units. A 20” 12v Cello TV sits here too.
The 7’8” galley is next, with a Rayburn multi fuel cooking stove taking centre stage. There is also a stainless steel sink, a large amount of drawers for storage, and a glazed side hatches either side for additional light and fresh air.
Next is the 8’1” bedroom, with 2 single bunk beds and storage under. The lower bunk is 5’8” x 2’7” and the top bunk is 5’8” x 2’0”. Another two freestanding units provide additional storage, and a 12v Swan fridge with ice box is also housed in this cabin.
Heading aft, the 7’9” bathroom features a large corner bath with shower over, a Thetford porta potti toilet, and a ceramic wall mounted basin. Behind the aft bulkhead sits a large wardrobe too.
Steps lead out into the 3’10” engine room, where the Beta 38hp engine is housed below. This was serviced last in September 2025.
There is 1 radiator and a heated towel rail on board, heated by a back boiler on the Rayburn stove, this also heats the fresh water system along with the engine. As the Rayburn runs as both the cooking and heating systems, theres no need for gas on this boat!
12v power is provided by 3x 110ah domestics with a separate starter, topped up by 240w of solar with a solar controller. 240v power is provided by a Performer 300w inverter, or landline hookup at the front and back of the boat. A Gunson battery charger is also installed.
Lighting on board is LED throughout.
She comes with all the relevant navigation equipment to turn the key and go!
