The Dragon

The Dragon is a lovely 59’3” cruiser stern narrowboat built in 2007 by Liverpool Boats and fitted out by S Burrows.
She has been well prepared for sale, benefiting from 2pk Epoxy blacking in November 2025 as well as a roof repaint, sides polished, and gunwhales repainted too. She was also surveyed prior to blacking, which is available for viewing in the office, and is transferable to the new owners.
The well deck is 5’1” with lockers all around, and access to the Vetus 55kgf bowthruster in the forward locker. The 500L stainless steel water tank is housed below.
Steps lead down, through glazed forward doors, into the 11’11” saloon. This features bench seats either side (which convert into a spare cross bed double) with storage under, a Boatman solid fuel stove, 21” 240v TV, and cupboard and shelves for storage.
A central corridor going through the middle of the boat leads on to the 7’4” galley. Here is a LEC 12v fridge with icebox, Spinflo Caprice oven, grill & 4 burner gas hob, stainless steel double sinks, and plenty of cupboards. Although there isn’t currently a washing machine on board, one of these cupboards could be an ideal location. A portside hatch brings in additional light and fresh air.
Next is the dinette area, again split down the middle, with single benches and tables either side. These can be used as single berths, each with a slim wardrobe for storage.
The 5’7” walkthrough bathroom follows, with a Vetus pumpout toilet, ceramic counter sunk wash basin, and a tiled shower cubicle with a glazed door.
Following, the 9’8” bedroom features a 6’3” x 3’10” fixed double berth, with storage under and a cupboard over. A large double wardrobe and separate cupboard sit by the aft steps.
The 7’11” cruiser stern deck features wrap around taff seating, with the Vetus 42hp engine housed below. This was serviced in November 2025.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto Thermo Top C diesel fired system connected to 2 radiators and a towel rail, and hot water is via the Webasto, or engine.
12v power is supplied by 4x 110ah domestics, with a separate starter and bowthruster supply. 240v power is via a Victron Phoenix Multiplus 2.5kw inverter/charger, or landline hookup with a galvanic isolator.
With a boat this prepared for sale, there really isn’t anything you need to do other than turn the key and go!
