Northern Soul
£56,950
Northern Soul is a 60’ semi traditional narrowboat built in 2004 by Pro-Build and nicely fitted out with Ash by Dean Werry.
She is in nice condition inside and out. She was last blacked in 2024 (x4 new anodes were put on at the time), and she had a full survey in 2024 (copy available for viewing in the office).
The two gas bottles are in the forward locker and the well deck is covered by a cratch cover. There are storage lockers / seats either side the stainless steel water tank is underneath. Steps lead into the saloon.
This is 10’1” long and has a large sofabed, a diesel Morso stove (with back boiler), a JVC CD / radio and some shelves and a cupboard for storage.
The galley is a generous 7’ long and the utilities comprise of a sink with drainer, a four burner gas hob, oven & grill, an air fryer, and a 12v fridge (with icebox). There is plenty of storage, and a side hatch on the starboard side adds light and air.
The dinette area is aft of the galley. This has storage under and converts into another spare double berth.
The bathroom is cleverly configured; the doors close to give a full width bathroom. The loo is a Thetford cassette (one spare cassette), the washbasin is ceramic and there is a good sized shower cubicle. There is also a cupboard and some shelves for storage.
The aft cabin is the main bedroom. The fixed double measures 6’4”x4’ (extends to 4’6”) and has storage under. At the foot of the bed is a large double wardrobe and the washing machine is housed next to the wardrobe.
Steps lead up to the semi trad deck which is covered by a pramhood. The engine is a Beta 43 (last serviced in Jan 2026).
12v power is from the bank of 3x110ah domestic batteries (all new in 2025) and 230v is from either landline, the 3kva Victron inverter / charger or the 3.5kw Travel Power generator.
There are 800w of solar to charge the batteries.
The lights are mostly LED, and there is under gunwale mood lighting.
Hot water on board is heated by the engine, the back boiler or an immersion heater, and the diesel stove also heats the three radiators.
Northern Soul has been well looked after and is ready for immediate occupation.
