57' 0" Cruiser Stern 2007 Liverpool Boat Company
Mary Elizabeth is a lovely 57’ cruiser stern narrowboat built in 2007 by Liverpool Boat Company. She is fitted out in white textured vinyl and oak faced ply, with oak trim, for a light and modern feel.
She has been extremely well maintained, benefitting from 3 coats of blacking in 2019, 2020, and 2023, and a further 2 coats in September 2024. A full survey from June 2018 is available for viewing in the office.
The 3’10” cratch covered well deck features lockers either side, and the 436L stainless steel water tank is housed below.
Steps lead down, through glazed forward doors, into the 11’0” saloon. Here is a sofa bed which converts to a spare double, an Aarrow Fires Becton solid fuel stove, 27” 240v TV, wifi router, and a range of storage. You could also easily swap out the sofa bed for comfortable arm chairs if preferred.
Next is the 6’5” dinette, easily seating 4, with storage under. This converts to a second spare double berth when needed.
The 6’6” galley follows, in a typical horse-shoe arrangement used by Liverpool Boats. With granite worktops, a Stoves 500DIT oven, grill & 4 burner gas hob, 12v Fridgemaster fridge with icebox, a stainless steel sink, and plenty of high and low level cupboards.
Up next is the off-corridor bathroom, large at 6’7”, with a quadrant corner shower, Thetford cassette toilet (with 4 cassettes), and a ceramic wash bowl over another granite topped cupboard.
The 10’10” bedroom features a fixed 6’3” x 3’10” double berth (extends to 4’5” wide), with drawers under, and cupboards over the head end. 2 half height wardrobes sit by the after doors, with drawers, and a tall cupboard containing a twin-tub washer.
Steps lead out onto the 6’8” cruiser stern deck, with the Isuzu 42 engine housed below. The engine has been serviced professionally every year, most recently in April 2025, with spares on board too!
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel system connected to 3 radiators and a towel rail, and hot water is via the Webasto or the engine.
12v power is provided by 4x 120ah domestics (NEW April 2024) with a separate starter. 240v power is via a Victron Phoenix 2000w inverter, or landline with a galvanic isolator. A Sterling battery charger, and 250w of solar with a Victron MPPT solar charge controller, are also installed, ensuring everything remains topped up.
Lighting on board is mostly LED, except for in the galley.
Such a well looked after boat, and ready to turn the key and go!
