Mustn’t Grumble
£57,950
Mustn’t Grumble is a charming 62’ 6” traditional stern narrowboat built in 2006 by Colecraft. She is fitted out in oak faced ply with oak trim, and Amtico flooring throughout, and has been in the same hands since new.
She was surveyed and blacked in August 2026 prior to listing for sale, and 6 new anodes were also fitted.
The cratch covered well deck is 4’3”, with lockers either side and padded cushions for extra comfort.
Steps lead down, through glazed forward doors, into the 11’0” saloon. There are two comfortable captains chairs, one footstool, a Villager solid fuel stove, Samsung TV, Bose home entertainment system, and a few of cupboards and shelves for storage. A starboard side hatch, with steps, roof access, and a demountable screen brings in extra light and fresh air, whilst acting as an additional exit if needed.
The 6’4” dinette follows, which comfortable seats 4 and converts to a spare double when needed. Additional storage space is provided under the seats, along with a pull out 12v Shoreline chest freezer.
Next is the 7’10” galley, with Corian worktops, 12v LEC fridge, Vanette oven & grill, Vanette 4 burner gas hob, Bosch washer/dryer, and lots more storage.
A large full height wardrobe, and smaller cupboard sit in the corridor, which leads aft to the 5’11” main bathroom. Here is a Sanimarin pump out toilet, square shower enclosure with glass door, and a moulded Corian wash basin with cupboard below.
The 10’3” bedroom follows, with a fixed 6’4” x 4’0” double berth, storage under and cupboards over, with a second TV, large wardrobe, and a desk or dresser area.
An ensuite is next, occupying 3’10” of space, with a Thetford cassette toilet. This is great if you have guests over, or if the pump out tank is full in the main bathroom.
A step leads into the 3’7” engine room, with the beta 43 engine housed below. This was serviced in Summer 2024 and cruised very little since. Navigation is aided by a Vetus 55kgf bowthruster. Another step leads out onto the trad stern deck.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto Thermo Top C to fin rads down the starboard side, and hot water is via the Webasto, engine or immersion when on landline.
12v power is supplied by 4x 110ah domestics, with a separate starter (topped up by 2x 100w solar panels with a Victron MPPT solar charge controller) and separate bowthruster supply. 240v power is via a Victron 2.5kva inverter/charger, Electrolux 3.5kva travelpower generator, or landline hookup.
Lighting on board is LED throughout.
She has been cleverly thought out, with every inch of space used to the maximum potential, and she would be ideal for extended cruising or as a liveaboard home.
