59'7" Semi Trad 2004 G+J Reeves/Stowe Hill Marine
Alan John is a charming 59’7” semi-trad built in 2004 by Stowe Hill Marine using a G&J Reeves shell. She was grit blasted, zinc coated, and 2 pk epoxy blacked in 2017, along with a full repaint which remains in good condition and has been polished prior to her arrival with us.
The cratch covered well deck (4’3”) features a fold down table, and cushioned lockers all around. The 900L integral water tank is housed below.
Steps lead through glazed forward doors, into the 9’0” saloon. A sort of balcony area is first, with a single wardrobe and storage under steps, leading down into the saloon proper. Here is an L-shaped fixed bench which converts to a spare double, and shelves for storage opposite.
A secondary dinette area follows (4’6”) with more fixed seating, and a moveable table island in the centre. This features additional storage and a microwave. A port side hatch with roof access sits opposite, as well as a Lockgate diesel stove.
The 5’0” galley is next, with corian worktops, ceramic sink, Belling oven, grill and 4 burner gas hob, 12v LEC fridge with icebox, and plenty more storage. A starboard side hatch and Houdini over bring in additional light and fresh air.
A walkthrough bathroom follows (6’6”) with a large quadrant corner shower, pump out toilet, and built in corian wash basin.
Next is the 8’10” bedroom, with a fixed 6’3” x 4’0” double berth. This can extend to 5’0”. A single full height wardrobe and cupboard over the bed provide ample storage.
The 8’0” engine room is at the aft, with the Gardner 2LW engine proudly on show. This was serviced in November 2023 and cruised very little since (only 812 hours on the clock in total!). Navigation is also aided by an ARS hydraulic bowthruster. An Indesit washer dryer is also housed here.
Steps lead out onto the semi-trad deck, with lockers either side, and a large storage area under.
She is centrally heated by a Hurricane diesel boiler (new 2017) connected to 7 radiators. Hot water is via the engine, Hurricane, and immersion.
12v power is provided by 4x 110ah domestics (new Feb 2025) with a separate starter, topped up by an estimated 40w of solar. 240v power is via a Victron Multiplus 3kva inverter (new Feb 2025), and landline hookup with a galvanic isolator.
Lighting on board is LED throughout.
Shes a fantastic vessel, full of character and charm, and will make somebody a lovely floating home or holiday get-away.
