Wine Down is a 57’ go-anywhere reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat built in 2010 by Aqualine. She has been recently blacked (July 2023) with 4 new anodes fitted, and has been serviced prior to sale too!
She is fitted out in oak faced ply with oak trim and oak T&G throughout, with oak flooring through most of the boat (tiled in the bathroom).
The 7’10” cruiser stern deck is protected from the elements by a high pram hood, easily collapsable for bridges. The Beta 38 engine is housed below.
Steps lead down into the 10’6” galley. Here there is a 12v Zanussi fridge with icebox, Belling oven & grill, Belling 4 burner gas hob, granite worktops, Candy washing machine, and heaps of storage. The current owners have added additional shelves, giving you more space than you can fill!
A breakfast bar with two seats connects the galley to the saloon. In the saloon (13’9”) is a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove, large sofa bed (converts to spare double), 240v LG Tv and Sony DVD player, and more cupboards for storage. A port side hatch brings in additional light and fresh air.
The 7’ 1” off-corridor bathroom follows. Typically arranged in Aqualine fashion, the triangular shower enclosure is tile lined, with a frosted glass door. There is also a Vetus pumpout loo and ceramic wash basin.
Next is the 8’ 9” bedroom. Here there is a fixed double berth, which extends to. With drawers under, cupboards over, and a double wardrobe at the foot end, theres plenty more storage in here too. There is also a wall mounted 240v Logik Tv.
Steps lead out onto the cratch covered well deck, with lockers either side and a fold down table for al fresco dining.
She is centrally heated by an Alde Compact gas system connected to fin rads and a towel rail. Hot water is via the engine or immersion.
Lighting onboard is LED throughout.
12v power is via the bank of 3x 220ah Victron AGM batteries, with separate starter. 240v power is via a Victron Multiplus 3kw inverter/charger or landline.
