Widdy II – 45′ Cruiser stern 2006
Widdy II is a superbly presented 45’ cruiser stern narrowboat built in 2006 by Eastern Caravans & Narrowboats on an Andicraft shell. She is in fine condition and well looked after.
Last blacked (three coats of Keelblack) in Feb 2018, and with the roof re-painted in 2014 and sides re-painted in 2015, she is looking very well.
The well deck is a good size and the cratch cover is in very good condition. The entire under well deck floor is given to storage with the water tank in the forward bows. There are bench seats either side with storage underneath (including diesel tank for the stove in the starboard seat).
This leads into the saloon. A sociable space at 9’ long with opposing 6’ couches either side. These have storage under and convert into a large 6’x6’ spare double berth. A separate dining table (which stores under the gunwales) sits in between. There is also a diesel Bubble stove in here along with a wall mounted TV/DVD with satellite, and storage cupboard.
The galley follows and offers all the necessary utilities; a sink with draining board, four burner gas hob, oven & grill, 12v fridge with icebox and storage a-plenty.
A corridor on the starboard side leads to the bathroom. This is a spacious room and has a pumpout loo, good sized shower cubicle and pedestal basin.
The bedroom is the aft cabin; the fixed double is 6’x4’ and has storage under, shelves over and a large wardrobe at the foot of the bed.
Steps lead up to the large cruiser stern deck under which sits the well maintained Beta 38 engine in a very clean engine room.
She has a 350w inverter, a landline (x2), the lighting is LED throughout and hot water is provided by the engine or immersion (when on landline). The Bubble stove heats the boat.
Full of charm, she is ready for immediate occupation.
