Lovely 60 foot 2009 cruiser stern narrowboat
Time Out is a 60 foot cruiser stern narrowboat, built in 2009 by Andicraft and fitted out by her current owner who has had her since new. She currently sleeps four but could easily sleep six with the addition of a sofa bed.
She has a slightly unusual reverse style type layout with the dinette and galley at the stern which, when combined with the 8ft stern deck, provides a very sociable area. She is fitted out in Ash faced ply with laminate flooring throughout, lighting is all 230v low enegy and the windows are all bus style opening hoppers.
Entering the boat from the stern deck, the dinette comes first and is the ever popular pullman style. This converts to provide a second double berth and has storage space underneath.
The galley is a walk through arrangement and has a very modern, light and airy feel with Sapele worksurfaces, painted units and a pigeon box overhead. There is also the first of the two side hatches on the port side. The galley is equipped with a 500 DIT oven, hob and grill, a 240v Daewoo fridge (with ice box) and a large stainless steel sink and draining board. It has plenty of storage in the form of five cupboards, plenty of shelving and a couple of drawers.
Next comes the off corridor bathroom with a good size tiled shower cubicle (with curtain), the Thetford cassette loo (with one spare cassette), a ceramic basin over a vanity unit and a towel rail.
The bedroom is mid-ships and contains the fixed 4ft x 6ft 6in double berth (extends to 5’). There is a single wardrobe, a dressing table with storage underneath and additional storage space under the bed. Finally at the front of the boat is the 12 foot saloon with a Morso squirrel multi-fuel stove (with back boiler), another single wardrobe and plenty of space for either a sofa or a couple of captains chairs as per the preference of the new owner. There is another side hatch, this time on the starboard side. A single step leads up to the the well deck with seating over a couple of storage lockers and a cratch cover over.
Heating is provided by either the Alde gas boiler, the stove or the engine. Hot water comes from the gas boiler, the engine or the immersion (when on landline). There are two alternators, a bank of five 110ah batteries, a 1.6kw Victron inverter and a Nobel hydraulic bow thruster. The engine is a Beta Marine 43. She was last blacked in 2019 when four new anodes were added.
Lovely boat with everything you need to enjoy some relaxing Time Out on the water.
