Tilly – 30′ Semi-Trad 2014 Narrowcraft/Metrofloat
Tilly is our sweet 30’ semi-trad day boat built in 2014 by Narrowcraft, and since 2019 we have been using her to operate Stowe Hill Day Boat Hire from our wharf. It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to sell her.
She has just been blacked (Feb 2023) with new anodes, and a new boat safety certificate has just been issued too (for boat hire).
The semi-trad cockpit comfortably seats 4, with padded seats either side. Two 3.9kg gas bottles are stored under one, and the batteries and mooring equipment under the other.
A tonneau cover protects this deck from the elements. The Shanks 1430H 3 cylinder engine is housed below (last serviced in October 2022, at the end of our last season and not used since). There is a brolly holder on the rear deck also for use in inclement weather (brolly included!).
Steps lead down into the 9’0” aft cabin and galley. The galley area has a four burner gas hob, a stainless steel sink and plenty of cupboards and drawers for storage. There is a bench seat opposite.
The 4’6” bathroom is entered off this area, with a Dometic pumpout loo and a set of shelves for bathroom accessories.
Double stable doors separate the internal aft cabin from the external forward cabin. This cratch covered area features bench seats all around, with two demountable tables in the centre. Each section of the cratch cover rolls up individually, allowing for greater comfort from the elements.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto Airtop 2000 hot air blower, and hot water is heated by the engine. The calorifier is under the rear deck.
12v power is supplied by 1x 120ah domestic battery & 1x starter. There is a pair of USB charging points in the galley as well as a 12v socket.
The lighting onboard is LED throughout, including an overhead LED strip in the forward cabin. There is also a car CD / radio on board if you enjoy musical cruises.
She has played host to many fun-filled family days out during her tenure with us, and she will no-doubt provide the same for her new owners.
