The Welsh Wizard – stunning 60′ Aqualine Cruiser 2004
The Welsh Wizard is a 60’ cruiser stern narrowboat built and fitted out in 2004 by Aqualine. Aqualine boats deliver consistent quality and class and she is no exception. Her current owners have spared no expense in maintaining and improving her over their 3 years of ownership and a full list of these improvements are available for review.
The spacious saloon (over 14 foot in length) is entered via the well deck (cratch cover over). This houses the Morso squirrel stove (new in 2018), a couple of comfortable captain style leather armchairs (with foot stools) and lots of storage space. Next comes the well equipped galley including a useful breakfast bar. Cooking facilities are provided by Belling Oven, grill and 4 burner gas hob (new in 2019), there is a Shoreline fridge and separate freezer (new in 2019) a sink and loads of storage and preparation space. There is a side hatch on the starboard side with a perspex screen.
A corridor leads to the bathroom with the trademark Aqualine frosted glass door. In here is the electric pump out loo, a good size tiled corner shower, a ceramic basin and heated towel rail.
The good size 6’2” x 4’ 6” fixed double berth is in the stern cabin. There are two single wardrobes plus plenty of cupboards over the bed and large drawers underneath it. An attractive set of steps offer an easy exit to the sociable cruiser stern aft deck and the Candy Automatic washing machine sits underneath.
The engine is an Isuzu 42, heating is provided by the stove and Webasto diesel fired central heating system. There is a 2.5kva Victron inverter/charger, 200w of solar (new 2020) and lighting is all LED with under gunwale lighting in the saloon and bedroom.
There is a full survey from 2018 available for viewing in the office. She was last blacked in 2019 with four new anodes added to the existing four. The pram cover was new in 2018 and her paintwork is in very good condition.
