The Odyssey – 65′ Cruiser 2010 Fox Narrowboats
The Odyssey is a stunning 65’0” cruiser stern narrowboat built and fitted out in 2010 by Fox Narrowboats to a very high standard. She is brimming with charm and will comfortably accomodate 6 people with flexible sleeping arrangements and a huge amount of storage. She has only had two owners since new.
The 16’ saloon is entered via the cratch covered well deck. This houses the Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove (with back boiler), a couple of very comfortable captains style armchairs with footstools, and the ever popular Pullman style dinette. This converts to a double berth. The floor is solid oak and the rest of the boat is fitted out in Pine T&G and oak faced ply.
The walk through galley comes next and utilities comprise of a 12v Waeco fridge (with Icebox), a 4 burner gas hob oven & grill, and lots of storage space. The work surfaces are an attractive green Corian, there is a pull out work top extension above the fridge.
The midships cabin has a Kingsize crossbed together with a good sized cupboard, shelving and two large drawers under the bed.
The bathroom is almost 7’ long and is a wet room configuration with a pump out loo, a good sized basin and a couple of large cupboards.
The stern cabin is very spacious at over 12’ in length. This contains a huge amount of storage including a double wardrobe and two bench seats (storage under) which can offer two single berths and would make a perfect childrens cabin. There is also a washing machine neatly curtained off under the steps leading up to the very sociable 7’ cruiser stern (with pramhood). The Beta 43 is easily accessed under the deck boards. Navigation is aided by the 95kgf bowthruster.
Heating and hot water come from either the the Alde gas boiler or the multifuel stove, There is a 2.5kw inverter, solar panels and a landline. All the lighting is LED.
She is a very comfortable family holiday boat, or a very spacious liveaboard.
