The Nut House – 65′ Trad 2003 Liverpool Boats/Owner Fit out

The Nut House is a well presented 65’ narrowboat fitted out by the original owner on a Liverpool shell in 2003. The paintwork is in very good condition and the inside offers a huge amount of space.
The gas bottles are in the forward locker and the front deck is covered by a cratch cover. The integral water tank is under the well deck.
Steps lead into the huge (15’5”) saloon. This is open plan and houses a large sofa, a Becton solid fuel stove, a coffee table and some shelves. There is plenty of additional space for a sofa bed or more furniture as required.
The galley follows. There is a stylish 12v Swan fridge / freezer (new in 2023), a four burner gas hob, oven & grill (new in 2023), a microwave oven and a composite sink with drainer. There is also plenty of storage. A side hatch with steps on the port side adds light and air.
The bathroom sits off corridor on the port side. The loo is a composting one and the basin is ceramic. The shower is in a large cubicle with glass door and a radiator will take the edge off in the winter.
The bedroom is next. The bed is super king size (6’4”x6’4”) and folds down to make up. There is storage under.
The rear cabin I am calling a utility room, but could be an office, a room for the children, a workshop etc. Currently it houses the washing machine and various storage options.
Steps lead up to the engine room. The engine is an Isuzu 33 and the gearbox is a PRM 120D2.
She is centrally heated by an Eberspacher diesel fired boiler connected to 4 radiators. Hot water is via the Eberspacher and the engine.
12v power is via 5x 110ah domestics (NEW 2021) with a separate starter. These are topped up by 400w of solar with a solar charge controller. 240v power is via a Victron Phoenix inverter, or landline, and can charge the batteries via a Victron Blue Smart charger.
Lighting on board is LED throughout.
She has a lovely modern feel, and with a few homely touches could easily become a liveaboard home.
