Sweet Country Girl is a stunning boat, and a lovely example of a well kept Aqualine.
She was built in 2004 and is a 60’ Cruiser stern narrowboat.
The cratch covered well deck has seats (storage under) around and has the stainless steel water tank underneath. Steps lead down into the 14’ saloon. This is light and airy, fitted out in ash with a solid oak floor. The saloon has a large sofa bed, a solid fuel stove, cupboards & shelves and a TV cabinet housing the TV, Freeview box & DVD player. A breakfast bar is in between the saloon & galley.
The galley has granite worktops and plenty of clever storage options. Utilities comprise of a four burner gas hob, separate oven & grill, a microwave oven, and a stainless steel sink. The tap has a water filter and a side hatch adds lights and air.
The bathroom follows. This is classic Aqualine with its frosted glass doors. The loo is a pumpout, the basin is ceramic and the shower is a tiled cubicle with glass door and light over. There is also a heated towel rail in here.
The bedroom is the aft cabin. The fixed double bed has wardrobes at either end and cupboards over. There are two big drawers under for storage. Under the rear steps is where the washing machine is neatly squirrelled away.
These steps lead out onto the 8’ long rear deck. The popular Isuzu engine is under the boards, and a tonneau cover protects the back deck from the elements.
She was last blacked and serviced in Dec 2021.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto, and hot water is heated either by the Webasto or the engine. 12v is supplied from the bank of 4 leisure batteries, and 230v from either the landline or 1600w Victron inverter. She has a small 30w solar panel and a Galvanic Isolator. All the lighting is LED.
She is a lovely boat, ready for immediate occupation either for a liveaboard or holiday cruiser.
