SOUTHPORT is 60’x10’ cruiser stern widebeam, launched in August 2019. She was built by Darke Steel at Stilton and has been fitted out by her owner since then.
The stern deck is a large, social space, and has the gas locker on it. The engine, a Barrus Shire 50 with only 34 hours on the clock, sits under the deck boards. Propulsion is aided by the Vetus bowthruster. She is reverse layout, so the steps lead down into the galley. This is huge at over 14’ and hosts a 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill, oak block work surfaces, a 230v fridge (with icebox) and sink. There is plenty of storage including a large utility cupboard, and there are stools for four to eat around the breakfast bar. There is also room for a dining table if desired. A wide (2’9”) side hatch adds light and air.
The saloon is open plan and has a two seater sofabed which offers an additional double berth. There is a TV aerial point in here.
The bathroom is off the port side corridor and huge at 8’ long. The loo is a pumpout, the basin is ceramic with cupboards under, and the shower cubicle (with rainfall shower head) is large at 4’6” long x 2’ wide .
The bedroom is in the forward cabin. A huge room at 13’ long housing the 6’6”x4’6” double bed, two wardrobes and some shelves. There is room for additional free standing furniture if required.
The water tank is large at 670 litres, all the lighting is LED, and 230v comes from either landline or the 3kva Victron inverter. She also has a galvanic isolator.
She is centrally heated by a diesel fired Eberspacher, and hot water is heated by the engine, the Eberspacher or an immersion.
She offers a huge amount of living space and is well equipped for either living aboard or for long term cruising.
Viewings are by appointment only.
