Red Sable is a lovely reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat built in 2012 by Collingwood and fitted out by Orchard Marine. She was their demo boat for 3 years, and has been in the same hands of private ownership since 2015.
She is very presentable with paintwork in good condition and well cared for inside.
The stern deck is a lovely social area at 7’5” and the engine, a Canaline 38 sits under. This will be serviced at sale.
The gas bottles are in lockers either side of the rear deck.
Steps lead down into the galley. This has a 12v fridge (with icebox), a stainless steel sink, a four burner gas hob and an eye level oven & microwave. Cupboards offer plenty of storage and a side hatch offers lights and air. The stereo is in the electrics cupboard and there is power and plumbing for a washing machine under the hob.
The L shaped dinette area follows. This converts into a spare double and has storage underneath.
After the dinette is the saloon. This has two comfy chairs in (which convert to a single berth each), a wall mounted TV/DVD combo, a solid fuel stove and a storage cupboard / shelves.
A corridor leads to the bathroom. This has a good sized quadrant shower, a ceramic counter top wash basin, a heated towel rail and a Thetford cassette loo.
The main bedroom is in the forward cabin. The fixed double measures 6’4”x3’10” and has storage under. There are two wardrobes at the foot of the bed, and cupboards over the head end. Steps lead up to the well deck.
The water tank is under here and is stainless steel. The hot water is heated by the engine or the central heating, which is a Webasto diesel fired system.
On board 12v is from 3x110ah domestic batteries, and 230v is from either landline hook up or the 1800w inverter. All the lights are LED.
All in all she is a lovely, well cared for boat, ready for immediate occupation.
