Pickled Pelican – 57’6″ Reverse layout Semi Trad 2007 Pinder
Pickled Pelican is a lovely 57’6” reverse layout Semi Trad built in 2007 by Pinder and fitted out by Colin Pierce. She has been in the hands of her current owner for 10 years and is very presentable. Fitted out in oak faced ply, she feels very cosy throughout.
The rear deck has a bench seat on the starboard side (storage under) and the Barrus Shanks 340 is under the boards. This only has 1,035 hours on the clock, and has been regularly serviced.
Stairs lead down into the 11’ galley. The worktops are granite, and there are cupboards and drawers galore. Utilities comprise of a four ring hob (3 gas, 1 electric), a gas oven and grill, and separate 12v firdge and freezer. The sink is stainless steel, and a very large floor to ceiling cupboard aft of the sink houses the electrics and a very good storage area. There is an extractor fan in the ceiling.
The 13’ open plan saloon follows. This houses a gateleg dining table (with 4 collapsible chairs), a two seater sofa (makes into a sofabed) and a solid fuel Boatman stove. The hearth and surround is granite. A wall mounted TV/DVD combo is next to the fire, and a side hatch opposite the sofa adds light and air.
The walk through bathroom is well proportioned at nearly 9’ long. The loo is an electric flush pumpout, the basin is ceramic and sits on a granite counter. The shower is a quadrant cubicle with glass door, and there is an extractor fan in the bathroom ceiling.
Forward of the shower is a very practical area with the washing machine and a 1/2 wardrobe hanging space with large shelf.
The bedroom is in the forward cabin. The fixed double is 6’4” x 4’ and has storage under. There is a double wardrobe at the foot of the bed, with a cupboard over it and another by the steps. These lead out onto the well deck.
She is centrally heated by a diesel fired Webasto boiler. The water tank is stainless steel (675 litres) and hot water is supplied from either the engine, the webasto or an immersion heater. All the lighting is LED.
230v is supplied from either landline or the 3kw Victrom inverter, and 12v from the bank of 3 domestic batteries. She also has a galvanic isolator.
A lovely boat, ready for immediate occupation.
