Patience is a lovely boat. The shell was built by G&J Reeves in 2004, and she was on hardstanding until 2014 when the fitout started and was completed in 2015. A pre-purchase survey report from 2016 states that the vessel was “as new, despite the age of the hull”.
The two gas bottles are in the forward locker, and the well deck is protected by a cratch cover. The stainless steel water tank is under.
She is a conventional layout, so steps lead down into the saloon. She is very nicely fitted out in oak faced ply (painted to the ceiling and cabin sides) with oak trim. The saloon has a Portway solid fuel stove, a cupboard for storage, a host of shelves and a wall mounted 28” TV/DVD combo opposite the Klick Klack sofabed.
At the aft end of the saloon is a breakfast bar which leads into the nearly 12’ long galley. There is plenty of storage in here along with a 230v fridge, 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill, a microwave oven, a washing machine (which runs off the inverter if necessary) and the sink. A side hatch over the hob adds light and air.
The bathroom is off corridor and has a really good sized shower cubicle, a Thetford cassette loo (with three cassettes), a heated towel rail and a ceramic counter top basin over a cupboard.
The bedroom is next. The fixed double is 6’2” long and is 3’10” wide (but extends to 4’6” wide). The mattress is brand new and unused. There is storage underneath and cupboards on the wall both over the head end and along its length. At the foot of the bed is a dressing area with three drawers, and also a large wardrobe with both hanging space and shelving.
Steps lead up to the rear cabin. The engine, a recently serviced Beta 38, is housed under the floor boards as are the batteries. There are 4 domestics (110ah) and one starter.
She is centrally heated by an Eberspacher diesel boiler, and this also heats the hot water (along with the engine or an immersion heater). 230v is supplied either from landline or the 3kw Victron inverter / charger. All the lights are LED and she is also fitted with a Galvanic Isolator.
Patience is a beautifully presented boat; clean, spacious, light and airy. Ready for immediate occupation for either residential or holiday use.
