On Reflection – 55′ Cruiser stern Reeves 2003
On Reflection is a super charming 55’ cruiser style narrowboat built in 2003 on a Reeves shell and fitted out by Bob Mitchell. She has been in the same caring hands since launch, and it shows. She is in wonderful condition both inside and out.
The well deck is protected by a very good condition cratch cover (with clear panels). The water tank is under, and a useful storage locker is forward.
Steps lead through glazed front doors into the saloon. She is very well fitted out in oak faced ply with oak trim, mostly with carpets to the floor and she has a lovely feel about her. The saloon houses a diesel stove, a TV/DVD combo with Bluray, two armchairs and various storage units. It is over 8’ long.
An L shaped dinette follows. This will comfortably seat six for dining (with additional chairs), and has storage under. It also converts into a spare double berth. A side hatch opposite adds light and air.
The galley offers all you need; a 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill, a good sized fridge, a stainless steel sink and plenty of storage including a wine rack. The floor in here is tiled, and there is another side hatch.
The port side corridor leads to the bathroom. The loo is a Thetford cassette, the basin is ceramic set over a cupboard and the shower cubicle is a good size with glass door and a light over. There are a couple of very good sized linen cupboards.
The aft cabin houses the fixed double berth (extendable to 5’). There is storage under, cupboards over, and cupboards a-plenty at the foot of the bed. Steps lead up onto the large cruiser stern deck which is covered with a very good condition pramhood.
She is propelled by a Beta 43 (with hospital silencer). 230v is from either the 1.5kw inverter or landline, and 12v from the bank of 4 batteries. Solar power is on board and due to be fitted. All the lighting is LED.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto and hot water comes from the engine, the Webasto or an immersion heater.
She is a wonderfully presented craft. Well looked after and ready for immediate occupation.
