Old Goose – 57′ 6″ Semi Trad 2004 Liverpool Boats
Old Goose is a beautifully presented and well looked after 57’6” Semi Trad built in 2004 by Liverpool Boats.
She is in superb condition. She underwent a full repaint in 2016 at Rose Narrowboats. She was blacked in 2022 (including baseplate), the cratch cover was new in 2015. There is also a survey from Aug 2019 (available for inspection). Batteries were new in 2022, the stove was new in 2017. She has also spent the last four winters on hardstanding….in a nutshell, love and money has gone into this boat and it shows.
The well deck leads though solid glazed stable doors into the saloon. This houses the sold fuel stove, a super comfy reclining sofa, and the TV/DVD & stereo. Beyond the sofa is the pullman style dinette. This converts into a second double berth, and has storage underneath.
The typical Liverpool galley follows with its horseshoe shaped arrangement. Utilities are opposite the side hatch and comprise of a four gas burner hob, oven and grill. There is a microwave oven, stainless steel sink, 230v fridge with icebox and lots of storage.
Passing a floor to ceiling wardrobe in the corridor you come to the bathroom. The loo is a Vetus pump out, the basin is ceramic and the shower cubicle is tiled and has a light over. A towel rail in here will keep the room warm in winter.
The bedroom is at the stern and is huge at over 12’ long. The fixed double is 6’4”x4’ and has storage underneath. At the foot of the bed is a dressing area with drawers and cupboards, and a Smart TV is wall mounted for bedtime viewing. There are two further wardrobes and an airing cupboard at the rear entrance.
The Isuzu engine sits under the deck boards on the semi trad stern deck.
The central heating is a diesel fired Eberspacher, and hot water is via the Eberspacher, engine or immersion.
On board 230v is from either landline, the 1.8kw inverter or the 3.5kw Travel power generator.
All the lighting is LED .
Navigation is assisted by the 55kgf bowthruster.
