57′ reverse style cruiser
Nunny is a 57’ reverse style cruiser stern narrowboat built in 2019 by Jackson & Sons & fitted out by Oakums boat builders. She is in lovely condition both inside and out and feels luxurious with her beautiful fit out and deep pile carpets.
She is gas free, systems being supported by a 10kva Victron inverter / charger, a 5kva Travel Power generator, and almost 1000ah of battery power. The lighting on board is nearly all dimmable and all LED, with mood lighting under the gunwales. She is so cosy after dark!
Entry is from the stern deck under which is housed the Canaline 42 engine with hospital silencer (and with only 75 hours on the clock). Steps lead down into the port side corridor, off which is the bathroom. This has a Thetford Curve cassette loo (with pipework and space for holding tank installed for a pumpout if desired), a ceramic basin and a shower over a 4’ bath.
The saloon area follows with an L shaped dinette (storage under). A dining table could very easily be fashoned for in here. Over most of the saloon and galley is a huge sky light. This is triple glazed with a solar film to protect from heat of the sun, and is electrically operated to open. It’s like a sun roof on a boat! A TV is also in here – opposite the dinette.
The galley follows and has an electric 4 burner hob, oven & grill. The 230v fridge sits next to that, and the sink and storage cupboards are opposite. There is also a breakfast bar with three stools and storage under. A bank of 4 drawers is next to the fridge. Work tops are Corian.
A walk through single cabin follows with cupboards under each bed (with a washing machine in one) and cupboards under the opposing gunwales. A further cabin could either be an office or another single bedroom. The main double bedroom is in the forward cabin. The bed is a 5’10”x4’ and extends to Kingsize (5’2” wide) with storage under, over and at the head. Further storage is under the opposing gunwale.
As there is no gas locker in the bows, the well deck is generously proportioned at 6’6” long. The 550 litre polypropylene water tank sits underneath.
She is centrally heated by a diesel fired Webasto to six radiators, hot water is provided by either the Webasto, the engine or an immersion heater and 230v is from the 10kva inverter, the generator or landline. All the windows are double glazed.
She is a lovely boat, ready for immediate occupation and cruising.
