No. 7 – 57′ Reverse layout cruiser 2022 S. Jackson & Sons
No. 7 is a brand new 57’ reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat with an enclosed front. The shell was built by S Jackson & Sons, she was fitted out as a sailaway by Lym Marina and completed by Dan Cook.
The cruiser stern is 6’3” long and has the Canaline 38hp engine under. There are only 48 hours on the clock. The bank of four domestic and one starter batteries are in here, and there are two lockers on the back deck, one housing a gas bottle.
Steps lead down past two cupboards into the 11’ long galley.
She is fitted out in a mixture of oak faced ply & water resistant MDF, all with oak trim, and the floor is engineered oak.
Utilities in the galley comprise of a 3 burner gas hob, oven & grill, a stylish sink, a 3 way fridge and loads of storage. All the handles and the tap are copper effect, and all the drawers are soft close.
A breakfast bar (washing machine under) divides the galley from the open plan saloon. The room is large and currently houses a solid fuel stove, a wall mounted 39” Smart TV and there is room for armchairs or a good size sofabed.
The walk through bathroom follows. There is a quadrant shower, a Thetford cassette loo, and a ceramic counter sunk basin over a cupboard.
The bathroom is in the forward cabin. The bed is a king size and has storage under all of it, and there is a large double wardrobe with a drawer underneath it at the foot of the bed. There is an opening hatch over the head end of the bed for light, air and escape if necessary.
The bows house a large storage locker.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired boiler. The water tank is stainless steel, and the hot water is heated by the engine, the Webasto or an immersion heater. All the lighting is LED, and 230v is from either the landline hook up point or the 1600w inverter. She also has a galvanic isolator fitted.
All ready for someone to make their home.
