Navarino – 70′ Semi Cruiser 2016 Jonathan Wilson
Navarino is a 70’ semi-cruiser style narrowboat, built in 2016 by Jonathan Wilson. She was originally fitted out by Custom Canal Craft, and recently updated by Richard Needham and Matt Varney. She has a light modern feel with a high quality finish, and plenty of clever storage throughout.
The large galley is entered from the well deck through bi-folding doors which open fully. The well deck has a couple of seats and combined with the galley is a lovely sociable space, with room for a table and chairs inside.
The galley is walk through style with solid oak worktops, a CDA 4 burner gas hob, and Belling double gas cooker with grill. There is a Shoreline 12v fridge, a Hotpoint dishwasher and loads of storage in 14 drawers, and 2 cupboards.
The saloon is 12’ in length and provides a very flexible space, with a Morso Squirrel multifuel stove, room for a sofabed or armchairs, and 2 side hatchs bringing in plenty of light.
Next comes the first of two bedrooms, with a 6’2” x 4’7” cross bed and large single wardrobe, with additional under bed storage.
The walk through bathroom features a large shower cubicle, heated towel rail, and ceramic vanity basin. The loo is an unused Air Head composting toilet (with sealed coir brick).
The second bedroom mirrors the first, with an additional over bed cupboard. This is followed up by a utility room, with a pull out chest freezer, Hoover washing machine and more storage.
The engine is a Beta Marine 43, the heating is an Eberspacher diesel fired system to 6 radiators, there is a 3kw inverter and 4x 100w of solar. The 5 leisure batteries are 110ah. Hot water is via engine, Eberspacher or immersion (when on landline).
A modern boat with everything you need for a very comfortable live aboard experience.
