Moose Drool – 70’x12’6″ wide beam Colecraft 2005
Moose Drool is quite a vessel. At 70’ long and 12’6” wide, she offers a vast amount of very comfortable living space. Built in 2005 by DB Boats of Braunston on a Colecraft shell, she has been in the same hands since launch and has been very well looked after.
The huge rear deck offers a very comfortable social space and is well protected by a very good condition pramhood. The regularly serviced 90hp Beta engine and Beta 11kva generator (both cacooned & with hospital silencer) sit under, and navigation is aided by the Vetus bowthruster.
Steps lead down into an 8’ entrance lobby. On the starboard side is one of two bathrooms, this one with a Porta Potti, shower and ceramic wash basin in. Opposite is a cupboard with the washing machine (room for drying machine above it), an electric cupboard, and a wardrobe / further cupboard.
Into the open plan huge 17’ saloon. Currently empty apart from the solid fuel stove, there is ample room in here for sofas, dining table or both. There are two houdini hatches over and all the windows on board are double glazed with S-Craft shutters.
The galley follows and utilities comprise of a 230v fridge, an electric hob, oven & grill with extractor hood over (she is GAS FREE), a sink and many cupboards and drawers. A side hatch is on the port side.
Through a corridor on the port side you pass two double wardrobes and a large storage cupboard. This leads into the main bedroom. This is 14’ long and has a houdini hatch over. An ensuite bathroom has a ceramic roll top bath, a macerator pump out loo and a ceramic basin.
Steps lead out onto the well deck.
She is centrally heated by the diesel fired Eberspacher system, 230v is from either the 2.5kw inverter, the 11kva generator or landline hookup. 12v is from a bank of x6 domestic batteries, and hot water is heated by the engine, the Eberspacher or an immersion. All the lighting is LED.
She has a large 1,000 litre water tank.
There is a TV point and satellite wiring in the saloon, and a 4G Internet aerial.
She is a veritable floating home, ready for immediate occupation.
