Miss Ellie – 44′ Cruiser 2007 East West Marine
Miss Ellie is a delightful 44 foot narrowboat built in 2007 and fitted out to a high standard by East West Marine. She is in lovely condition throughout and boasts a huge amount of storage for a boat of her length. She is fitted out throughout in bamboo T&G and bamboo laminate as is typical for East West Marine.
From the well deck (stainless steel water tank under) the comfortable saloon is accessed. This contains an L-shaped couch (storage under and converts to spare double), a multi fuel stove and some useful shelving and cupboards. There is a collapsible dining table, and a TV opposite the dinette.
Next comes the portside U-shaped galley which contains the Spinflo oven and grill, the Country Leisure 4 burner hob, a microwave and a 12v Vitrifrigo fridge (with ice box). The sink is stainless steel. There are also plenty of cupboards including two particularly spacious ones underneath the stainless steel sink and draining board. The work surfaces are all black granite.
The bathroom is 5’ foot in length and is off corridor on the port side. This contains the macerator pump out loo, a ceramic basin over vanity unit and the shower which is a wet room style arrangement. The shower sits over a large shower tray with a curtain around.
The stern cabin houses the fixed 6’ 4” x 4’ double berth. There is no shortage of storage in here including 3 cupboards, 6 drawers, and a very impressive wardrobe. A set of steps leads up to the sociable cruiser stern deck (nearly 7 foot in length) underneath which sits the Barrus Shire 35 engine. The bank of 3 domestic batteries & 1 starter is in here. The rear deck is protected by a Tonneau cover (new August 2022). Both front and back decks have fold down seats for cruising.
Heating is via the Webasto diesel fired central heating to three radiators, or the multi-fuel stove. Hot water is heated by the engine or the diesel central heating. There is a 1600w inverter for 230v, a Galvanic Isolator and lighting is all LED.
She had a full survey and was last blacked in Oct 2019 (Epoxy 2pk).
