Lilly is a 57’ reverse layout cruiser built in 2009 by Venture Narrowboats. She has been fitted out by Debbies Day Boats in oak faced ply with oak trim throughout the boat, wood effect laminate flooring and tiled in the bathroom. She has been well prepared for sale with a recent survey and blacking in July 2023.
The cruiser stern deck is large at 7’5”. The Vetus M4.17 engine is housed below and navigation is aided by a Vetus 55kgf bowthruster too!
Steps lead down into the 8’5” saloon. There is a stainless steel sink, 12v LEC fridge with icebox, Spinflo 4 burner gas hob, Vanette GG2200 oven & grill, and a range of cupboards and drawers for storage.
The 6’0” dinette follows, which coverts into a spare double when required. The raised platform allows for storage under foot and under the seats. Side hatches either side, with built in fly screens and demountable acrylic screens, provide additional light and fresh air.
Next is the saloon, large at 11’ 10”, and open to allow for multiple uses. You could easily fit a sofa bed or comfortable arm chairs in here to suit. There is also a Valor Willow multifuel stove, and a range of cupboards, shelves and drawers for storage.
The 6’1” bathroom is next, with a quadrant corner shower, ceramic wash basin, Thetford cassette loo (with spare cassette), and more cupboards and shelves.
The bedroom is at the front of the boat, with a fixed 6’4” x 4’0” double berth on gas struts for easy access under. Unusually this is placed away from the gunwhales, making it more comfortable to sleep on both sides. Two single wardrobes sit by the forward doors.
Steps lead out onto the well deck, with a cratch cover over.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto Thermo Top E diesel fired system connected to 3 radiators and 2 heated towel rails. Hot water is via the engine, Webasto and immersion.
12v power is via 4x 110ah domestic batteries, with a separate starter and bowthruster supply, topped up by 400w of solar with a Victron MPPT solar charge controller. 240v power is via a Sterling Pro Combi 2.5kw inverter/charger, or landline.
Lighting on board is LED throughout.
With a few extra homely touches, Lilly would be ideal for extended cruising or liveaboard life.
