Katy – 50′ Reverse Layout Semi-Cruiser 2016 GJ Reeves/Clifton Cruisers
Katy is a go-anywhere 50’ reverse layout semi-cruiser, built in 2016 by Clifton Cruisers on a GJ Reeves hull. She has been well prepared for sale, benefiting from blacking in June 2023, and a survey from November 2021 is available for viewing in the office.
The semi-cruiser stern deck combines the open feel of a cruiser, with 2 lockers either side which double up as external seats. The Beta 43 engine is housed below, last serviced in spring this year.
Steps lead down into the 10’11” galley. She is well kitted out, with a 12v Shoreline fridge with separate freezer compartment, Panasonic microwave, kettle, toaster, Stoves 500DIT oven, grill & 4 burner gas hob, and plenty of cupboards for storage. Although she is not currently fitted with a washing machine, you could potentially make good use of one of these cupboards.
A 2 seat dinette sits to the starboard side of the galley, which converts to a spare single berth if needed.
Next is the 9’0” saloon, with a comfy sofa bed (converts to spare double) and a 12v Cello 19.5” TV/DVD combo.
The 6’10” off-corridor bathroom follows, set up as a wet room style shower. There is a Jabsco pumpout loo (emergency porta potti also on board) and ceramic basin over vanity unit.
The bedroom is at the front of the boat. At 9’2” long, this cabin features a fixed 6’4” x 4’0” double berth, storage under and over, and wardrobe forward.
Steps lead out onto the 3’8” well deck, with lockers either side, and access to the under bow storage area.
She is centrally heated by an Eberspacher diesel fired system connected to 3 radiators and a towel rail. Hot water is via the engine, Eberspacher or immersion.
12v power is provided by the bank of 3x 100ah AGM batteries, with separate starter, topped up by 890w of solar, with a Victron MPPT solar charge controller. 240v power is via a 3.5kw Dometic travel power generator, or landline.
Lighting onboard is LED throughout.
She is well equipped for extended cruising, with extra berths for occasional guests, and with a few extra upgrades could easily become a liveaboard home.
