Inaminit is a lovely 62’ traditional stern narrowboat built in 2003 by Crown Narrowboats on a G&J Reeves hull. She has had only two owners since new and has been well looked after.
The blacking has been two pack all her life, and she was last blacked in October 2021. In 2016, she was gritblasted prior to blacking. The engine was serviced in Sep 2022.
The well deck is 4’ long and has the stainless steel water tank under. The two gas bottles are in the forward locker.
She is a conventional layout, so the steps lead into the saloon. This is 12’ long and has a couple of armchairs (with footstools), some cupboards for storage and a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove (new in 2021). Aft of the saloon is the dinette area. This has storage under and converts to a spare double berth. A side hatch opposite adds light and air.
The galley is next. Utilities comprise of a four burner gas hob, oven & grill, a microwave oven, a stainless steel sink and a 12v fridge (with icebox). There are plenty of shelves & cupboards for storage.
The bathroom follows and has a tiled shower cubicle with glass bi-fold doors, a ceramic counter sunk sink, a couple of cupboards and some storage shelves. The loo is a Vacuflush pumpout (with tank gauge).
The bedroom houses the fixed double bed. Currently the mattress is 6’x4’, but the base is 6’3”x4’6”, so a bigger mattress could be put on. It also extends full width to 5’10” so a very large mattress is an option.
There is plenty of storage at the foot of the bed, with a wardrobe and a shelving cupboard. There are drawers under the bed and cupboards under.
Aft of the bedroom is a utility / office area. This currently has a twin tub washing machine under a desk area / shelf, but there is space, power & plumbing for a full size washer.
The engine room is last and houses the Beta 43. Propulsion is aided by the bowthruster.
12v comes from the 3 domestic batteries (new in 2022), and 230v comes from the 2kw inverter, landline hook up point or the 3.5kw Travel Power generator. 600w solar heep the batteries topped up. She is centrally heated by a Mikuni diesel boiler. All the lighting is LED.
Hot water is heated by the engine, the Mikuni or an immersion heater (untried and tested by current owner)
She is a lovely vessel, ready for immediate occupation.
