Godstow – 57′ 2006 Colecraft Cruiser stern:
Godstow is a 2006 57ft Cruiser stern narrowboat, with a hull by the highly regarded Colecraft, and a fit out by Oxfordshire narrowboats with whom she spent 4 years as part of their hire fleet.
She has all that is needed for comfortable living aboard; we sold her a year ago in Dec 2017 and she is back for sale for personal reasons. Prior to that she provided a warm and cosy home for the previous 7 years, so she is a tried and tested liveaboard.
She has a semi-reverse layout. The very easily managed steps from the large stern deck lead into the saloon. A cosy room housing the Boatman stove, a sofabed and various shelves & cupboards. There is a wall mounted 22” flatscreen TV opposite the sofa.
The galley follows and has a 12v fridge, space for a washing machine, 4 burner gas hob with oven & grill with cupboards and shelves for storage.
The bathroom follows; in here there is the Thetford cassette loo, and the shower is over the half bath next to the basin unit.
Passing the wardrobe and into the bedroom. Good sized fixed double in here with plenty of storage under, with a chest of drawers and another double wardrobe at the end of the bedroom.
The corridor then leads into the aft cabin. There is yet another wardrobe in here, along with two 6’6” beds which either make for two singles, or they will push together to make a double. A great spare bedroom for children or adult guests.
Out onto the well deck which has bench seats / lockers on either side and a storage locker in the bow (the gas is on the stern deck). The whopping 1,000 litre water tank is under the deck.
She has an Eberspacher diesel fired central heating system, and is propelled by the popular Isuzu 42 engine.
On board 230v power is supplied through the 1600w Victron inverter.
