Fair Rosamund is a charming 55’ semi-trad built in 2004 by Liverpool Boats. She was originally built as a cruiser, and remodelled and fully repainted in 2012. She is in good condition, and benefits from a recent blacking, survey and new boat safety (all carried out September 2023).
The well deck features lockers either side, and a good condition cratch cover over.
The saloon is large at over 16’6” long (including dinette) and houses a Morso Squirrel solid fuel stove, two comfortable leather captains chairs with footstools, 230v Samsung TV, CD radio, and a range of cupboards for storage.
A pullman style dinette sits in between the saloon & galley. This has storage under and converts into a spare double berth.
The 6’11” galley is the typical Liverpool horseshoe arrangement. The utilities comprise of a 12v LEC fridge with icebox, a four burner Vanette gas hob, oven & grill, a stainless steel sink, and plenty of storage. A side hatch on the starboard side adds light and fresh air.
A floor to ceiling wardrobe is in the corridor leading to the bathroom. The 5’ 11” bathroom has an Ocean macerator pumpout loo, a plastic basin set into a cupboard unit and a tiled & curtained shower cubicle.
The bedroom is in the aft cabin. The fixed double bed is 6’3” x 4’0” with storage underneath. There are plenty of storage options, a dressing table/desk area, and space for a washing machine under the aft steps.
Steps lead out onto the semi-trad deck, and the Isuzu 38 engine sits under the deck boards, which was serviced in August 2023. Navigation is also aided by a Vetus 55kgf bowthruster.
12v power is via 4x 120ah domestics, with a separate starter and bowthruster supply. 230v power is via a Phoenix inverter 1600w, and a separate Sterling Power charger is also installed along with landline hookup.
She is centrally heated by an Eberspacher diesel fired system connected to 3 radiators, and hot water is via the Eberspacher and engine.
Lighting onboard is a mix of halogen and LED.
She is a lovely boat, full of cosy charm and homely features, and would be ideal for weekends away, extended cruising or liveaboard life.
