Endeavour is a lovely 60’ Semi Trad narrowboat built in 2007 by Derrett & Hammond on a Colecraft shell.
She had a good survey in 2019 and, whilst the exterior paintwork is in need of some attention, she is fitted out beautifully in Ash with a solid ash floor.
The well deck is large at nearly 6’ and provides a good outdoor area. All of the sides of the cratch cover come off and the shape is such that you can stand up on both sides. The 675 litre water tank is underneath.
Steps lead through glazed front doors into the saloon. A good size room at 12’, this houses a 3 seater sofabed, a Bubble diesel stove, a host of cupboards and shelves and a TV aerial point.
The Pullman dinette follows and has storage under and converts into a spare double berth. There is a side hatch opposite with glazed inner doors.
Into the galley – the work tops are pine, and all the drawers and doors are solidly built. There is a 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill, a 230v fridge (with icebox), a microwave oven and a Belfast sink. There is storage a-plenty including a winerack. Another side hatch (with glazed inner doors) adds light and air, and both the saloon and galley have a Houdini hatch over.
The walk through bathroom is next and has a tiled quadrant shower, a composting loo and a ceramic sink. There are 4 cupboards and a radiator in here also.
The bedroom is the aft cabin. The fixed double bed has storage under and a radiator next to it. At the foot of the bed sits a large wardrobe (also housing the washing machine) with another large cupboard opposite.
Steps lead up to the semi trad deck under which sits the Beta 43 engine with hospital silencer. Propulsion is aided by the bowthruster. The rear deck is covered by a very roomy pramhood.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired boiler and hot water is heated by the Webasto, the engine or an immersion heater. All the lighting is LED (including under gunwale mood lighting through the boat).
Domestic 12v is from the bank of 3x170ah deep cycle AGM batteries, and 230v is from either the 2.5kw inverter or landline (with back & front hook up).
There are 610w of solar panels.
She was last blacked three years ago and the engine was last serviced in 2021 (but has not really been used since).
A lovely, solidly built and beautifully fitted out boat.
