Elidir – 57′ Trad 2004 G&J Reeves / Stowe Hill Marine. Gardner 2LW
Elidir is a charming 57’ trad built here at Stowehill in 2004. She has been in the same ownership since launch and has been incredibly well looked after. She is in pristine condition both inside & out.
The well deck, aft of the classic Stowe Hill bows, is a good size and has a good condition cratch cover. The board is glazed and there is a drop down table. There are two collapsible chairs for outdoor dining.
Through glazed front doors into the saloon. Generously proportioned at nearly 13’, the room is light (light oak fit out) and has a Morso solid fuel stove. There is a half wardrobe by the steps and storage shelves and cupboards (one housing the TV/DVD). The L shaped couch (with gateleg dining table) has storage under and converts into a spare double berth. The CD/radio is housed in here.
A storage cupboard sits in between the saloon & the galley. Utilities in the galley comprise of a 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill, a stainless steel sink, a 12v fridge (with icebox) and plenty of storage options. A side hatch on the starboard side adds light and air.
A starboard side corridor leads to the bathroom. The loo is a macerator pumpout, the basin is ceramic and the shower is a tiled cubicle with sliding glass doors. There is a light in the shower and an extractor fan in the bathroom ceiling. A heated towel rail sits next to a linen cupboard and some shelves.
The bedroom follows. The fixed double is 6’2”x4’ and has storage under the foot end. There is a cupboard (with reading lights) over and at the foot of the bed is a wardrobe and a dressing table with a cupboard over.
The aft cabin is dedicated to the engine room housing the classic Gardner 2LW (serviced annually). There are side hatches either side, and plenty of storage including another wardrobe, three further cupboards (one housing the electrics), and a very convincing fake range which is actually a storage box.
Steps lead up to the stern.
Propulsion is aided by the Nobel bowthruster (with two batteries). She is centrally heated by an Eberspacher diesel fired boiler, the water tank is large at 730 litres, and the water is heated by either the engine, the Eberspacher or an immersion heater. 230v is from either landline or the brand new 1600w inverter, and 12v is from the bank of 540ah of domestic supply. Virtually all the lights are LED, and she has a Galvanic Isolator.
An amazingly well cared for and presented craft, ready for immediate occupation.
