Double 0 is a very desirable boat. She is a 57’ reverse layout Cruiser stern built only 2 and a half years ago in 2020 on a Mike Christian hull by Smithwood Narrowboats, and she oozes luxury with a very well constructed oak fit out, and oak & tiled floor.
She has been over-prepared for sale having just been blacked and having had a hull survey at the same time. It goes without saying that in her short life she has been well loved and looked after.
The cruiser stern is a good social space, has a pramhood over, and the Canaline 38 engine is under the deck boards. The bank of 4x120ah domestic batteries is in here providing 12v through the boat, as is the calorifier. The controls for the Vetus bowthruster are here at the helm.
Stairs lead down in to the 11’ galley. The worktops are granite and there is plenty of storage. Utilities consist of a 12v larder fridge, a 12v chest freezer, a stainless steel sink & drainer, and a 4 burner gas hob, oven & grill. A side hatch adds light and air.
There is a breakfast bar with two stools as you pass into the saloon. This is nearly 14’ long and houses a Reflex diesel stove, an L shaped sofabed (spare double berth) with a swivel table, a captains type arm chair with another small swivel drinks table, and a TV/DVD combo which electronically recesses into the under gunwale cabinet.
A sliding door leads into the walk through bathroom. The loo is a macerator pumpout and the basin is ceramic. The shower is a quadrant style cubicle with glass doors (cupboards in between the shower and cabin sides), and there is a heated towel rail.
Another sliding door leads into the forward cabin, the bedroom. The bed is a crossbed with cupboards / lockers either side and a wardrobe. The bed when made is 6’2”x4’6”, and has USB charging points either side.
Stairs lead up onto the well deck which has a bench seat across the width of the boat. There is storage under along with the guts of the bowthruster. The gas bottles (with changeover valve) are in the forward locker.
She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel fired system, and hot water is heated by the Webasto, the engine or an immersion heater. The water tank is stainless steel. All the lighting is LED (including under gunwale lighting in the saloon) and 230v comes from either landline hook up or the 3kw Victron inverter/charger. Batteries are topped up by the 160w (estimate) of solar power.
All the windows are double glazed.
Double 0 is only two years old, with very little to do to her apart from making her your own.
