Brandy Girl is a superbly presented 45’ Semi Trad narrowboat built in 1999 by G&J Reeves & fitted out by Valley Cruises. She has had only two owners in her life and benefits from a full repaint in 2020 by Spiderworx, a blacking in Feb 2022, and a recent engine service. Even at 45’, she offers all the space and facilities you could want for comfortable living.
The cratch covered well deck has bench seats / lockers around, and steps lead into the saloon. This has an L shaped dinette (which turns into a spare double berth and has storage under), a couple of cupboards and shelves, a TV aerial point and a CD/Radio. A washing machine is neatly squirrelled away behind the dinette and is easily accessible.
The galley follows. Utilities comprise of a four burner gas hob, oven & grill, a sink with drainer, a 230v fridge (with icebox) and plenty of storage.
A corridor leads aft. There is a small cupboard for coats, and a door leads into the bathroom. This has a very good sized tiled shower cubicle, a pump out loo and a wash basin with cupboard over and under.
The bedroom is in the aft cabin. The fixed double is 6’3”x4’ and has storage under. There is a cupboard over the head of the bed, and a wardrobe at the foot.
Steps lead up to the Semi Trad cockpit. This has seats / lockers either side and the engine, a Beta 35, is under. Navigation is assisted by the Vetus 60kgf bowthruster.
The water tank is integral 680 litres, and the water is heated by the engine or the central heating. She is centrally heated by a Webasto (new in 2021).
230v is from either the 1600w inverter, a cacooned 3.6kw diesel generator or the landline. 12v is from the bank of 3x110ah domestics (new 2022). Most of the lights are LED. She also has a galvanic isolator. The rear deck also has a tonneau cover to protect from the elements.
She is in wonderful condition and ready to go.
