Boat name: Lying Toad Too
Boat type: Cruiser
Lying Toad Too – 70ft cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1986. She was originally a hire fleet boat with Club Line Cruisers on the Coventry canal, and passed to private ownership in 1999.
She was bought by her current owners in 2013, and they have spent considerable time living on board fitting her out as she is today.
Entering from the well deck into the saloon. The spacious saloon is open plan, apart from a demountable dining table, and is 18’ of space to do with what you will. There is plenty of light in here from the plentiful windows and the houdini hatch.
A Morso squirrel marks the passage into the practical walk-through galley which has lots of cupboard and drawer space, as well as a 230v fridge and a gas hob, oven & grill.
The walk-through bathroom follows. This houses a Thetford cassette loo, a ceramic basin over vanity unit and a 5’7” bath. A shower could easily be fitted over the bath if required.
The bedroom follows with a fixed double bed (with storage space under) and a hanging wardrobe (which also provides accesses to the cassette toilet). Its a good sized room at 11’ 4”.
We then go into a 9’ long spare room which provides many options and possibilities. This space could easily be made into an office, spare bedroom, nursery, store room / workshop, or utility room as …there is already plumbing in here for a washing machine if needed.
Every tap and water unit, including the loo, have isolation devices fitted for peace of mind and easy repair.
If living aboard is the plan, then Lying Toad Too – 70ft Cruiser Stern gives you the maximum space available to enjoy it!
