Longships is a 60ft semi traditional narrowboat built in 2008 by Narrowcraft and maintained by the present owner in good condition.
Longships – 60 ft Narrowcraft Semi Trad – 2008 has a ‘reverse layout’, which has the main entrance at the stern of the boat, into the galley area. The boat has a large galley, with granite work surfaces. The galley is equipped with a 4-ring gas cooker with oven and grill. There is also a 12v Shoreline fridge, a microwave and an Ariston washer/drier installed. Next to the galley is an open plan Pullman dinette which converts into a double bed and also houses a 12v shoreline pull out freezer. There are starboard side doors, which open onto the dinette. The saloon comes next and has free standing furniture, and a cabinet which houses the TV aerial connection point. The saloon is heated by a Refleks diesel fired stove. The bathroom is a full width walkthrough area lying between the saloon and the bedroom. The shower is a quadrant shower unit with curved tray, the toilet is a Tecma macerator pump out and there is a ceramic basin mounted on a granite work surface. The bedroom is located at the fore of the boat and can be accessed through glazed double doors from the well deck. The bedroom has a fixed double bed and a large full height wardrobe with a sliding door.
The well deck has a glazed wooden deck board and is covered by a vinyl cratch cover, while the semi trad area is covered by a vinyl pram hood cover with clear inserts. The boat is powered by a Barrus Shire 45 which is located under the deck boards in the semi traditional area.
