Egret is a reverse layout 51 ft cruiser stern narrowboat in a shell fabricated by Narrowboats of Staffordshire and fitted out by Dursley & Hurst. Launched in 2012, this boat was fitted out in a modern style and is perfect for holidays and longer term cruising.
The interior is lined with light oak finishes and has a spacious airy feel to it. Starting at the sociable stern deck, the galley is entered down ladder steps, and features an eye level grill, oven and 12v fridge, together with a micro wave and built in gas hob. There is good cupboard and drawer space beneath the worktops. The open plan saloon/dinette area is next, and has an L-shape settee with a demountable table that also doubles as a double guest berth when needed. The saloon also has two upholstered swivelling chairs. The shower room follows which is fitted with a 1/2 length hip bath with the shower over, a countertop basin unit and a macerator pump out wc.
The bedroom is in the forward cabin and has a 5ft wide cross double berth with wardrobes either side, built in chest of drawers and a further cupboard fitted with shelves.
The boat also has a 2.6 kW inverter and charger combi unit installed, and a Vetus bowthruster to aid manœuvring.
